Butterfly Lavender Care Instructions
The planter will arrive well watered, but will need watering again in a few days time.
Keep it in a light spot, somewhere close by where you can appreciate the fragrance and the delicate beauty of the flowers.
As the flowers fade, cut them off at the point down the stem where you can see two more healthy flower buds.
The planter has no drainage holes. This well not affect the health of the plants for two or three weeks, but after this time you will find that the plants start to look a bit tired. Then it is time to plant them outside in the garden, either straight in the garden border or into larger pots.
During the summer, water regularly and feed occasionally with a drop of food for flowering plants.
This lavender is not completely hardy, so when the first frosts threaten in autumn, it can be brought inside. Trim back by about one third, place on a cool, sunny windowsill and keep on the dry side.
